Both of those, and many more Sports and Academics requirements can be found at the [http://www.boyscouttrail.com/cub-scouts/acad-sports.asp Cub Scouts Academics and Sports Program] web page. Look up your favorite activity, and see what it takes to get your belt loop and pin. Heck, you may have already earned your Belt Loop, and didn't even know it!

| Hey boys get a warm coat and get ready for some wild adventures! Next month I plan to go to Alum Rock Park, in San Jose, Ca. This will be our first hiking expedition towards a fifty miles goal. Yes I said " Goal! " For each Ten Miles hiked you earn a patch. This will continue till yah reach fifty. Then you get a hiking stick. Not just any hiking stick, but somthing surprising. The only thing is you have to reach fifty too see. Good luck. To the parents! If any one has gone though the leadership essential training, please if you would like to be my second in command let me know. Required to get the tour permit. Email me at dionrmrz@yahoo.com
